Film & Feast
The UU Film & Feast event will resume on Saturday, 26 October, 2019, at 1pm with the film Ratatouille accompanied by a group meal preparation of ratatouille and breads. RSVP to Constance at 715-337-0598 or email constancej1950@hotmail.com by 24th Oct. A sign-up sheet will also be posted on the board in the kitchen. Children and adults alike are invited!
The Film: Ratatouille. 111 minutes. 2007. Rated G. Dreaming of becoming a chef, French rat/epicure Remy begins hanging around the kitchen of a Paris restaurant. Teaming up with cooking-impaired kitchen worker Linguini, he begins creating dishes that wow foodies throughout Paris. But are Linguini's newfound culinary abilities enough to win over a co-worker and a harsh food critic? The film is a treat you will want to enjoy again and again.
Menu: Ratatouille, various breads (salads?)
Suggested Ingredients: Olive oil, onions, garlic cloves, green peppers, eggplant, summer squash, zucchini, tomatoes, leafy greens, Parmesan or Romano cheese; herbs: basil, oregano, parsley, cayenne pepper & salt and pepper.
